Ingredients
- 1 pound Ballerina Farm Italian Sausage
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for freshness)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Mix the meatball ingredients: In a large bowl, combine Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and egg. Mix gently until just combined (don’t overwork the meat).
- Form meatballs: Roll into 1-inch balls.
- Sear: 1-2 min each side on a hot skillet. (They are not meant to be fully cooked at this stage).
