Ingredients
BREAD PUDDING
- 450 g bread cut into cubes
- 5 eggs
- 300 g heavy cream
- 450 g milk
- 250 g apple sauce
- 200 g brown sugar
- 10 g vanilla
- 2 g cinnamon
- 1 g nutmeg
- 2 g salt
- 55 g melted butter
APPLE FILLING
- 300 g apples, peeled and diced
- 25 g butter
- 25 g brown sugar
- 2 g cinnamon
- 1 g cardamom
Directions
BREAD PUDDING

Slice and cube the bread; set aside.

In a bowl, combine eggs, cream, milk, applesauce, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until smooth.
APPLE FILLING

Add all ingredients to a pan and cook until the apples begin to soften.
ASSEMBLY

In a large bowl, add the cubed bread. Pour the custard mixture over the bread and stir until all pieces are coated.

Add the cooked apples and mix gently.

Pour into a 9x9-inch pan and let soak for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle with brown sugar on top and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35–45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 200°F (93°C).

Let cool for 10 minutes. Top with buttermilk syrup and enjoy.
