Mint Hot Cocoa - Ballerina Farm

MINT HOT COCOA

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ½ cups (20 ounces) whole milk
  • 3-4 sprigs (15-20 grams) fresh mint
  • 2 scoops (78 grams) Bone Broth Hot Cocoa
  • Dutch process cocoa powder, for serving (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pour the milk into a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the fresh mint sprigs and bring to a vigorous simmer, stirring the milk constantly to prevent burning. Continue simmering for about 2 minutes, or until the mint has steeped into the milk.
  2. Remove the milk from heat and discard the mint leaves. Add the Bone Broth Hot Cocoa mix and whisk until completely combined. 
  3. Pour the hot cocoa into mugs. Top with a dusting of cocoa powder and enjoy.
