Ingredients
- 1/2 pounds Ballerina Farm Bacon
- 4 ounces sliced red onion
- 7 grams chopped garlic
- 2 ounces red wine
- 8 ounces chicken stock
- 1 ounces agave or Raw Honey
- ½ scoop Ballerina Farm Creamy Chocolate Farmer Protein
- 1 grams kosher salt
Method
- In a medium size pan, cook bacon until it is about 75 percent crispy.
- Add red onions and cook until bacon is crispy
- Add Garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Deglaze with red wine and reduce until thick
- Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes, most of the liquid should be reduced.
