Tomahawk Steak with Wild Garlic French Salt

Ingredients

Method

  1. About an hour before cooking, pull your steaks out of the fridge.
  2. Pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Mix your Wild Garlic French Salt, black pepper, coconut sugar, paprika and chili flakes and season your steak all over.
  4. Let rest on a wire rack until ready to cook your steaks. This will draw out an excess moisture and help season the steaks well.
  5. Before cooking, pat dry your steaks again until well dry, trying not to remove any of the spice seasoning.
  6. Heat your grill to around 400 F, but leaving heat on the grill for your steaks to cook off the heat. Start them off direct heat and cook until internal temp reads 130 F.
  7. Finish searing over direct heat and a good crust forms.
  8. Serve with your choice of side or a good glug of great olive oil.
