Strawberry Crème Holiday Soda

Strawberry Crème Holiday Soda - Ballerina Farm

Yields: 6 drinks | Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 10 minutes | Protein: 10 g per drink

INGREDIENTS 

  • 9 ounces hulled strawberries*
  • 6 ounces whole cranberries*
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • Pinch Coarse Grey French Salt
  • 6 ounces unsweetened coconut milk
  • 2 ½ scoops Strawberry Crème Farmer Protein
  • 60 ounces sparkling water, chilled
  • 6 sprigs rosemary, for stirring and serving

DIRECTIONS

  1. Slice the hulled strawberries and add them to a small saucepan with the cranberries, vanilla, sugar, and salt. Place the pan over medium heat and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the cranberries are easy to pop with the side of a spatula. Remove the pan from the heat and allow the strawberry mixture to cool.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut milk and protein powder until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  3. To assemble the drinks, divide the cooled strawberry mixture between each glass. Top with the strawberry-coconut protein, using about 1 ½ ounces per glass. Finish each drink with 10 ounces of sparkling water and garnish with a rosemary sprig. Serve immediately. 

*Note: If possible, use fresh strawberries and cranberries, but frozen will work in a pinch.
